This Ride is one of the Flagship Tours of Sand2Snow Adventure Co., among Motorcycle Tours in India. One gets chance to Travel on a Royal Enfield Motorcycle from Sand dunes of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan to Snow of Spiti Himalayas. This is an Extreme Motorbike Trip in India, which connects two must to visit palaces  of Incredible India, i.e. the Colorful Rajasthan and the Mighty Himalayas.

You will land at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi and will be meeting Sand2Snow Representative there, later you will be boarded into a Domestic Flight to Jaisalmer, The Golden City of Rajasthan. Your Motorcycle Tour actually starts from Jaisalmer Fort, which is the second oldest fort at the Land of Maharajas.

Rajasthan is a Colorful state of India, known for it's Heritage Forts & Havelis, that takes us to the old era of Majestic Kings & Queens. Civilization in Villages of Rajasthan is still of that era. The Vibrant Colors of - Dresses of women and Turbans of Men, Their Cattle of Goat, Sheep, Cows and Camels and their Mud huts, The melodious Folk Music of Langa's & Manganiyaar's  will definitely make you to forget your Urban life for a while and dissolve your Soul in the True Colors of Rajasthan.

The Major attractions of the Motorcycle Trip in Spiti-Himalaya would be crossing two High Mountain Passes - Rohtang Pass, 13054 Feet (3900 Meters), which connects Kullu Valley to Lahaul Valley and Kunzum Pass, 15059 Feet (4590 Meters), which connects Lahaul Valley to Spiti Valley. Chandratal Lake - a Scenic High-Altitude Lake in Himalayas, on the route from Kaza to Tandi.

Delhi - Jaislamer (Domestic Flight)
We advice you to reach Delhi, the Capital of India, a Day prior to Start Royal Land of Rajasthan Motorcycle Trip. Meet our Representative at Delhi and get boarded into Early Morning Domestic Flight from Delhi to Jaisalmer. Reach Jaisalmer and check in a Heritage Hotel. Evening is free to visit “World heritage site”, Jaisalmer City. The name ‘Jaisalmer’ evokes utter magic and vibrancy of the desert. It’s straight out of an Arabian Nights fable. Bhati Rajput ruler RawalJaisal, after whom the city finds its name, founded Jaisalmer in 1156 AD. The ‘Jaisalmer fort’, known as ‘Sonar Quila’ or ‘the Golden fort’, rises from the sand and merges with the golden hues of the desert ambiance. The setting sun in its most colorful shades gives it a fairy tale appearance. Have a Night stay in Hotel.
Jaisalmer - Khuri Village
Today you will Meet your real Partner of the Journey, the Royal Enfield Motorbike & entire CREW members. After breakfast, will have a Ride briefing session and will start riding towards to Desert. Riding through the Giant wind-mills and will reach the Hunted village 'Kuldhara'. Continue ride to ‘Sam’ Village, the real Sand dunes and Rajasthani Folk Artist's village. Herds of camel and cows are attractions on the way to Sam. Continue ride to 'Khuri' where you will find less crowd but beautiful Sand dunes. Have a Camel ride to reach on Sand dunes and watch a beautiful Sunset. In the evening we will have Campfire and Cultural Dance. Night stay will be in comfortable Tents.
Khuri Village - Jodhpur
After breakfast, start riding through a narrow village road. You will see the best of western Rajasthan village life en-route. Reach "Sun city" Jodhpur till evening. The old city of Jodhpur was founded by Rao Jodha, the leader of the Rathore clan, in 1459 AD. The mammoth, imposing fortress (Mehrangarh) has a landscape dominating a rocky ridge with the eight gates leading out of fortress. JaswantThada, UmaidBhavan Palace is the rest of attraction of the City.
Fittest riders may go for a walk in the old city. Stay for the Night in a Heritage Hotel.
Jodhpur - Mandawa
Start early Morning ride to reach Mandawa, early evening. Today will be riding from Marwad region to Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Check the changes in the Landscapes as well as Dressings of Men & Women. Till evening check in the Town of Havelis 'Mandawa'. Mandawa is founded in the mid-18th century. It is dominated by an imposing fort, now a heritage hotel that is maintained in classic medieval style with modern luxuries. The archway is painted with interesting forms of Lord Krishna and his cowherds. Mandawa is famous for Forts &Havelis. Night stay @ Heritage Hotel / Haveli.
Mandawa - Hisar
Have breakfast and start Riding to enter into the next State of Rajasthan, 'Haryana'. Now you are entering into Fertile land as well as totally different Cultural land. Haryana has a unique class of very energetic Folk Music and Dance. Today we will complete the Ride till lunch and will take rest till evening. Evening will be full of Cultural Songs and Dances by Locals. Enjoy the evening and stay for the Night in Hotel.
Hisar - Chandigarh
Today we will be riding towards to Foothills of Shivalik Himalayas in northwest India. Will reach 'Chandigarh' located near the foothills. It was one of the early planned cities in post-independent India and is internationally known for its architecture and urban design. Today will be the last day of Journey on flat lands, because tomorrow on wards we will be Riding on Himalayan roads as well as off roads. Stay for the night in Hotel.
Chandigarh - Narkanda
Have breakfast and start riding towards to 'Snow' part of the Sand2Snow Adventure Ride. After Riding on 30 Kms. of straight Highway will start riding Up Hill on Zig-Zag roads. You need to adopt Hill riding skills and to focus on different terrain. Golden rule to follow - Don't overtake and use controlled breaks. You will be habitual of Hills in an Hour. Will be staying for lunch at the Capital City of Himachal, 'Shimla'. Complete ride till Narkanda. Evening free and stay for the Night in comfortable Hotel.
Narkanda - Kalpa
Enjoy the misty morning surrounded by Deodar forest. Have breakfast and start riding towards to Kalpa. We ride along the Sutlej River on the famous India-Tibet Highway. Till Kalpa it offers a Tarmac road with good riding conditions and beautiful views. Kalpa, a small town famous for the delicious Kinnaur Apples. Kalpa offers a breathtaking view of one of the Holiest Mountains in India - Kinner Kailash.
Kalpa - Nako
Today ride down to Reckong Peo and ride to Powari to join the main Hindustan-Tibet highway again. Along with the Sutlej the road would be gravel and will offer mud & water, ride carefully. Slowly the vegetation will go off, except small patches near houses. We are riding in Sutlej river valley and till Pooh have to ride on dusty roads. Will see the confluence of Sutlej and Spiti river at Khab. Now on wards road climbs on several loops to reach Nako. Evening free to visit Nako lake and surroundings. Stay for the Night in Swiss Tents.
Nako - Kaza (Via Dhankar)
Today is an easy riding day to Kaza. We will spend day to visit Monasteries and have some rest to regain the energy. Visit Tabo monastery (10,010 feet) famed for its vast collection of frescoes and stucco paintings. Also visit Dhankar monastery (12,774 feet), one of the oldest monasteries in the world. The monastery is overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. Suggested to take rest in the afternoon and have some walk in evening. Stay for the night.
Kaza - Hikkim - Komic - Kaza
Capital of the Spiti region, 'Kaza' is situated at an Altitude of 12,500 Feet. We will see the Highest altitude villages in the world Hikkim (14,400 feet) and Komic (14,830 feet). The village of Hikkim has the highest Post Office in the world (Pin Code 172114). You may send a mail to your loved ones as a souvenir of your Spiti Himalayan Adventure. Visit the beautiful Ki Gompa (aka Kee, Key), the largest monastery in Spiti. Ride back to Kaza and stay for the Day.
Kaza - Chandratal (Via Kunzum Pass - 4590 Mtr.)
Today we will ride to cross Kunzum La (15,059 feet) - 4590 Meters , the highest Altitude of the Spiti Himalayan Ride. Enjoy the magnificent views of Himalayan Mountain range from the Pass and ride on a dirt track to reach Chandratal lake. Since vehicles are not allowed near the lake, so ready to hike for 30 minutes to get this Scenic Himalayan lake. Stay for the night in Swiss tents and enjoy the Night sky with million starts.
Chandratal - Manali (Via Rohtang Pass - 3978 Mtr.)
Today will be the mix of rough section as well as smooth tarmac roads. In the start of the ride, will be doing off road riding and many water crossing. Be stick to your Handlebars and ensure full control over your Motorbike. At Gramphu, will join the Manali - Leh National Highway. A little stretch, before getting up to Rohtang pass would be off road and water crossings, later would be fantastic tarmac road till Manali. The sight of lush green Himalayan mountains and waterfalls would be breathtaking. Reach Manali, the popular hill station in the Himalayas. We will have a small Ride Celebration party in the evening. Rest for the Night in Hotel.
Manali - Delhi (Bus Journey)
Have Breakfast and board into AC Volvo Bus to Start Journey along with River Bias to get down hills Finally. Reach Delhi Safely and Proceed further for your individual Destinations. Tour Concludes with Happy Memories.

  • Any Air/ Bus/ Taxi/ Jeep fare which is not mentioned in What is Included Section.
  • Expenses of Personal nature like laundry, telephone/ fax calls, mineral water, alcoholic beverages, entrance and camera fee at monuments/ museums, medical expenses, gratuities, any fine etc.
  • Any kind of Insurance, such as accident, theft, medical, evacuation etc.
  • Any item, activity or facility other than clearly mentioned within the Inclusions & Itinerary above.
  • Cost of Fuel & Spare parts of any kind, Bike maintenance etc. (If you are joining with your Own Motorbikes).
  • Any entry fees, any tips, porter/ pony charges or any other expenses incurred by the participants during the sightseeing trips, other than as clearly mentioned within the Inclusions and Itinerary.
  • Any extra costs incurred due to extension/ change of the itinerary due to natural calamities, road blocks, Rescue or Evacuation, Vehicle breakdown etc. factors beyond our control.
